Synopsis
IN ROSEWOOD, PENNSYLVANIA, FOUR PERFECT-LOOKING GIRLS AREN'T NEARLY AS PERFECT AS THEY SEEM.

Aria can't resist her forbidden ex. Hanna is on the verge of losing her BFF. Emily is freaking out over a simple kiss. And Spencer can't keep her hands off anything that belongs to her sister.

Lucky me. I know these pretty little liars better than they know themselves. But it's hard keeping all of their secrets to myself. They better do as I say... or else!

My thoughts
This series is SO GOOD. I've give all 3 books so far 5 stars. I'm easily rushing through and always a bit sad when it's over. Every book contains amazing plot twists and situations that make you squirm in your seat. The short chapters make me rush through and I also feel that this book is a twist in the series, because things are getting more serious.

Pros
  • Cringey: The things that happen in this book! I sometimes feel ashamed for the main characters. It made me cringe in a good way, I was totally into the story and feelings. It was so difficult to see the main characters fall apart and make a mess of their life and I just felt powerless. I was physically feeling cringey and squirmy and ashamed, it's a huge compliment to the author that I had a physical reaction to the book!
  • Chapters: The short chapters make me rush through and the chapter names is one of the things I love about this book. I always speculate when reading the chapter name, to see if I can guess what the chapter is about. After reading the chapter I'll always check back and see in what way the chapter name fit the part I just read.
  • Gets real: I feel like shit gets real in this book. The person that is threatening the main characters is now spilling secrets left and right. People that shouldn't know about certain things are now getting the truth and that makes for some precarious situations.
  • Fall back: It is so easy for me to fall back into these books. I read a very short summary before starting the book, but I felt like I didn't even need that. It was easy to remember what happened in the first and second book.
  • Ending: YES! The ending was amazing. It makes me want to JUMP into the next book. Sadly, my TBR won't allow that, but I can't wait to read the next book.
Cons
No!

Overall
A great mystery/YA series. It's easy to rush through and to fall back into the series. The speculating about who the "A-person" is, is the most fun to me. I have no idea what is going on and I love every second of it. Another 5 star rating for me, that's the third in a row for this series!

Thanks for reading!
I'd love to talk books; please let me know what you think about this book review.
